What is Ethereum?

Ethereum is a blockchain-based, open-source, decentralized computing platform. Ethereum is most well-known for its native currency “Ether”, commonly abbreviated as ETH. How does Ethereum work?

These contracts don't require intermediaries and execute themselves when certain conditions are met, offering unprecedented transparency and reliability.
